The visual locator is the installer's basic equipment when working with optical fibers.
The bright red beam with a wavelength of 650nm is easily noticeable, the light goes out of the optical fiber at every discontinuity. In this way, with the help of the light pen, you can immediately find cracks or broken fibers and the easiest way to check the continuity of the track. The visible light source is useful for inspecting patchcords, pigtails, splitters, etc.
Emitter type: LED, laser class: II with 10mW output power with a range of up to 5km per MM and 10km for SM fiber.

The metal housing of the locator with a switch with visual indication of the operating mode and the integrated anti-dust cover of the optical port is a durable tool for impacts and random vibrations.
